Part number 145377R is a direct
replacement for the original steering couplings. This component eliminates both of these problems while providing a more positive steering action. |
Unlike some replacements, this coupling gives adequate clearance around the suspension turrets of all vehicles built on the Herald & Spitfire chassis'.

Boot front-edge repair panels LFA1

These have been unavailable since last year, we now have a small quantity of these available for immediate despatch.
A single panel is approximately 11" wide and repairs three ribs, four panels are required to repair the entire front edge.
A single panel is priced at £12.00 plus £2.00 carriage in the UK.
The current batch is supplied in bare metal with a light oil coating.
A set of four panels can be purchased for £45.00 plus £6.00 carriage.

Fabric Door Seal Finisher

We have been supplying the best available
replacement door seals for Heralds, Vitesses and early Spitfires for some time.
We are now able to offer the woven finisher as used on the original seals.

The fabric is 32mm wide and is priced at £1.50 per metre. The door seal DSL1 is priced at £4.00 per metre.

Carefuly stitched and glued together, you can achieve a very correct looking door seal. |
This fabric is available from stock in black, with charcoal grey fabric due shortly.

Solid Inner Wishbone Bushes

A completely unobtainable part for many years, we are now able to offer the solid nylon & steel lower wishbone bushes which are correct for the earliest Heralds.

These are suitable for any car using Herald front suspension, including all
Spitfire, GT6 and Vitesse models. They are manufactured specifically for Herald 948 models of 1959, where the unbraced lower wishbone was fitted, making rigid bushes essential. |
Sets of four bushes are available from stock at £22.00 plus £1.50 carriage in the UK.

Hood poppers and assembly tool

We've been selling hood
poppers for some time, but finding a source for assembly tools has
been more difficult.
We are now able to offer a reasonably priced punch and anvil set.
 |
Assembly is straightforward, the button is place face down on the anvil. The popper's locating hole in the fabric is placed over the button's spigot, followed by the socket. Place the punch in the spigot, a sharp clout with the hammer and you're done. |

Instrument bezel gasket

This will please anyone whose instruments are oozeing black goo from beneath their chrome bezels.
We recommend using our gasket to replace both the outer bezel to glass AND glass to instrument body gaskets.
This round section sponge extrusion is an excellent replacement for the original gaskets.

window channel Unlike similar products, our window channel is deep in section and fills the quarterlight runner correctly. This is supplied in 90cm lengths to fit the channel in each quarterlight. £3.50 per 90cm length |

Door Seal Very close in section to the original seal fitted to most Heralds, Vitesses and earlier Spitfires, this is a lip seal which is a vast improvement over the commonly available bubble section seals. The seal finish is plain rubber without the fabric finisher of later cars. £4.00 per metre |
